Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Review

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for the 3DS Nintendo Game System.

I just want to say as a gamer and a geek Pokémon has always played a big part in my life and I love every minute of it and the concept. I know saving the world from a wrong doer is a little cliche but who cares its nostalgia and now that it's been "remastered" the excitement rages on for every fan out there in the world.

About Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (Spoilers):
"The basic concept of Pokemon Sapphire is you're a gym leaders daughter/son who ventures on their own with a choice of a starter Pokemon.

Mudkip: The Mud Puppy water and ground type Pokemon who at level 18 evolves into Marstomp and then Swampert the mighty badass Pokemon at level 36 as seen above.

Trecko: The Tree Gecko a grass type Pokemon who evolves into Grovyle at level 16 and Sceptile the dashing reptile at level 36.

Torchic: The Cute Chick a Fire type Pokemon who evolves into Combusken at level 18 and Blaziken the Fire hot Martial Art fire and fighting type Pokemon.

When you start your journey you run into a group of bad guys called Team Aqua who's leader Archie wants to unleash the power of the legendary Pokemon Kyogre in his Primal form to unleash intense rainstorms on the world so Pokemon can have a better life without humans but Team Magma's Leader Maxie (bad guy in Omega Ruby) wants to stop his insanity. You'll come across lots of amazing Pokemon in this world from Gen 1-6th.

Objectives in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire:
1. Defeat all 8 Gym Leaders and collect their badges.
2. Stop the world from chaos.
3. Catch the out of control Legendary Pokemon Kyogre.
4. Beat the Elite Four
5. Catch all 718 Pokemon (I KNOW 718!)
6. Enjoy the perks of wonder trade, GTS,Super Training and Contests.
7. Do all the Post Game activities.
8. Try the Elite Four a second round (I believe things change).
9. Catch the Legendary Golem Pokemon.
10. Collect all Mega Stones.

Things that have changed or remade in the game:

Amazing 3D Graphics even without the 3D on it's amazing, all characters have their own facial expressions very animated!

Mega Pokemon and 4-6th gen were brought in (I myself am not fond if Mega but Sceptile looks badass)you'll get the chance to see every single Mega Pokemon Form in action of a Pokemon battle.

Wonder Trade if you never played X or Y or Black/White you wont know what wonder trading is but it's pretty awesome. Say you have an Oddish you don't want send it through wonder trade (Need Wi-Fi)and you'll be matched with a stranger somewhere around the world and receive a new Pokemon! Sometimes you'll get rares like Pokemon with Hidden Abilities or a Legendary Pokemon I've received a few of those.

The music, oh gosh the music is so well done the fan versions on YouTube are better but it's all in the eye of the beholder. If you have a 3DS XL you might hear a bit of scratchy or static like mine I try to ignore it.

Battles are very nice and animated you feel like you're really there now all we need is voice activation for telling your Pokemon what move it should use. All trainers have their own little battle entrance before the fight starts which is cool.

You can ride latias or latios in their mega forms when Steven gives you a magical flute which is cool its literally flying through the world map seeing everything in a 3D perspective and you can land just about anywhere there is land.

You get Latias or Latios right away after gym badge 4 or 5 which takes the fun out of it but whatever Game Freak be a buzz kill.

You get the Experience Share "EXP Share" before you even reach Rustboro city. You also have this nifty device on the bottom screen that lets you see Pokemon who are slightly poking out to say hello but you must walk slow or they run away. These Pokemon have either their Hidden Ability or an Egg Move and they normally have higher IV points than a normally found Pokemon (but I dont care about IVs). also if someone has a Pokemon next to them in a town or anywhere you can stand next to it and it will register in your Pokedex (but you have to catch it to gain any info it just tells you where its located.

Mauville City is a massive what in the world! It's a giant mall looking place I got so lost my first time in their drove me nuts I felt stupid not being able to figure out where specific stores were haha. There is a nifty little restaurant that is like the Star Cafes in X and Y 5 turns and you get your meal and if you perfect the battles you get a free Nugget but you can only go to the Restaurant once a day!

Well that's my review Geek out~
